FALL FOOD IDEAS: QUICK AND EASY BANANA BREAD

THIS BREAD IS B-A-N-A-N-A-S

Breakfast breads are a quintessential fall food but what really makes breakfast breads stand out, is how darn easy they are to make. I love that I whip everything together in a bowl and pour it all into a bread pan. There is no fuss over scooping cookies or pouring batter into cupcake tins. This banana bread is short on time and rich in flavor.

10 Ingredients you will need:

1 cup granulated sugar
1 stick of unsalted butter, room temperature
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
1 tablespoon milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan.

Mix sugar and butter in a large bowl, until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well.

In a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix in the milk. In separate bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Add the banana mixture to the sugar mixture and stir until combines. Add dry ingredients, stirring just until flour disappears.

Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Set aside to cook for at least 15 minutes. Remove bread from pan, slice and serve.
